Thanks. This does work and is relatively straightforward. However, it provides no visual indication of excluded sections from my customisation file which is rather unfortunate. That's why I would prefer to be able to COMMENT or tag excluded sub-trees. I guess I can use column view to see what is excluded... In any case, I can manage what I want for the moment.
