    org-mode menu should enable access to edit commands
    This change opens a slot, so other commands may follow

Hi Andreas,

thanks for the suggestion -- I'll let other decide on it.

An important point: since you do not want to assign your copyright
to the FSF for Emacs/Org, I think it's better not to send patches but
just to make suggestions for changes, especially for trivial changes
like this one.

Sure. OTOH trivial changes are accepted without assignment - at least this is the official FSF-policy.

According to here ¹  you can contribute up to 15 lines of
TINYCHANGEs in aggregate:

    If your patch is against a file that is part of Emacs, then your
    total contribution (all patches you submit) should change less
    than 15 lines (See the etc/CONTRIBUTE file in GNU Emacs.) If you
    contribute more, you have to assign the copyright of your
    contribution to the Free Software Foundation (see below).

I don't know whether that's a binding constrain. . .

Yes, but there is a cumulative limit and it can be a burden to keep
track of it.
