I see. This is a side-effect from commit d26431cea4b9004751f17b4d7660f1737477ec0b. I don't know Gnus internals very well. Is there a way to distinguish between a Gnus buffer fontifying an Org mode snippet and a read-only buffer? Note that it passes (derived-mode-p 'org-mode) check. Regards,
