When doing capture, after selecting 'task', I get:

  Template key:
call-interactively: Symbol's value as variable is void: dired-buffers

This is on:

  GNU Emacs 23.3.1 (i386--netbsdelf, GTK+ Version 2.24.4) of 2011-06-25 on fnord.ir.bbn.com

I suspect it may be this commit:

  commit 819fbec64160c3c33884b116734c01f56be7606b
  Author: Nicolas Goaziou <n.goaziou@gmail.com>

This has (hopefully) been fixed on master. You may update Org.
