Alternatively, you might try (from the Group buffer) telling gnus to unplug (J j) and then plug back in (J j). I cannot verify that either of these will work as the problem might be with dovecot. You could try asking on the gnus mailing list? HTH, eric PS - by the way, my lines are all indented because between yesterday and today, something has changed in either gnus or org! Paragraph filling is working nicely in one sense but everything is indented more than I would like.
