I think the :caption attribute could do the trick (of course everything
must be on one line):

#+ATTR_LaTeX: :caption \caption[Hilbert
 curves]{\label{fig:orgparagraph1} Hilbert curves of various degrees
 \emph{n}.}\setfloatalignment{b}
