You need a "beamer" entry in `org-e-latex-classes' (note: "beamer" name
isnt't mandatory, but it has to match the LaTeX class requested).

I use the following:

#+begin_src emacs-lisp
(add-to-list 'org-e-latex-classes
             '("beamer"
               "\\documentclass[presentation]{beamer}
\[DEFAULT-PACKAGES]
\[PACKAGES]
\[EXTRA]"
               ("\\section{%s}" . "\\section*{%s}")
               ("\\subsection{%s}" . "\\subsection*{%s}")
               ("\\subsubsection{%s}" . "\\subsubsection*{%s}")))
#+end_src
