Users will have a way to track *only releases* from git. 2. We will be able to use git hooks in order to automate the release process on the server. 3. The workflow looks clearer to me (may be 100% subjective.) The cost of the new setup is 0: instead of committing fixes to maint, we commit them to hotfix-*. -- Bastien
