Hi Tommy, I don't know if you've seen this, but I think Bernt Hansen's setup will answer most of your questions: http://doc.norang.ca/org-mode.html I found his web site to be extremely useful. AFAICT his setup state- of-the-art when it comes to keeping track of time in Org-mode.
