As Henry just noted, one of your main problem is your bibtex key. It should not contain spaces, commas, backslashes, semicolons, or other special characters that might mess up the syntax of the bibtex file. A common convention is to use author:year or if you have many articles by the same authors in the same year you can use author:yeara, author:yearb etc.
