From: 42 147 <aeuster@gmail.com> To: emacs-orgmode@gnu.org Subject: window splitting and preserving folded states Date: Fri, 26 Apr 2013 02:14:55 -0400 [thread overview] Message-ID: <4net7r8g.fsf@gmail.com> (raw) Critical to what I do is splitting the buffer into two windows: however, very, often, I need to fold the headline in one of the windows in order to (more efficiently) search for vital information elsewhere in the same buffer. When I do this, the headline is folded in both windows. How can I fold this headline in one window and keep it open in the other? Is that possible? I am completely inebriated right now, so apologies for incoherence. 42
