The table will reformat if you press the enter key at the end of the line (after "work?") without typing the closing bar "|". Pressing enter *inside* any cell will reformat the table and move down to the next cell, but not if you're outside of the grid. Also, C-c C-c anywhere within the table block (even if outside of the grid, as in your example) will reformat, keeping the cursor in its current position. -- Chris Randle
