That works fine (thanks to help from Eric S. on this list yesterday), except it adds(?) space in the beginning (and end) of the output document and front of the xml declaration thus making an invalid XML document. Is it possible to trim this space? My tangled file looks like: --8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8--- --8<---------------cut here---------------end------------->8--- I would prefer: --8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8--- --8<---------------cut here---------------end------------->8--- Thanks!
