Subject: Macro does not expand when exporting
Date: Wed, 12 Aug 2009 12:19:42 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <4A82973E.3020504@cs.tu-berlin.de> (raw)
Hello,
using this minimal setup:
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
(add-to-list 'load-path "/usr/local/emacs/org-mode/lisp")
(add-to-list 'auto-mode-alist '("\\.org$" . org-mode))
(require 'org-install)
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---
and this org file:
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
#+macro hello Greet the $1: Hello $1
* Macro does not expand when exporting
The macro definition above should turn {{{hello(world)}}} into
=Greet the world: Hello world=
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---
I get this LaTeX code (using C-c C-e l):
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
% Created 2009-08-12 Wed 11:53
\documentclass[11pt]{article}
\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usepackage{graphicx}
\usepackage{longtable}
\usepackage{hyperref}

\section{Macro does not expand when exporting}
\label{sec-1}
The macro definition above should turn \{{\{hello(world)\}}\} into
\texttt{Greet the world: Hello world}
\end{document}
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---
Obviously the macro is not expanded as described in the manual.
Am I missing something or is this a bug?
Versions:
GNU Emacs 22.3.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.14.7)
Org-mode version 6.29trans (commit 5834ad01b617430c0207627ad425758bcf9b921a)
Greetings,
Stephan
