This is, I think, a bug, now fixed.

I think is this is only useful if the lines are numbered, because
the relation between the link and the line should be visible also  
without
hovering the mouse.

Currently, the targets are removed if you give both the -n and -r  
switches.
Can you explain under what circumstances you'd like to have it removed?
Can you give a real-world example?
