Hi!

You could try doing something with org-capture and the org-capture-templates so that you would be creating your email from the start as an org tree entry under the appropriate location. You can override the org-capture-before-finalize hook (see org-capture.el) to send the mail when you're done typing in the indirect buffer and hit C-c C-c (or org-capture-finalize).

I have org-capture set up so I can use it immediately from anywhere in Emacs with the C-cc keys:

   (define-key global-map "\C-cc" 'org-capture)

That combined with a suitable template and the hook override might give you what you're looking for.

Hope this helps!
